The City of Hays’ Police Department is looking for a Part-Time Records Clerk. This office position performs general clerical and accounting duties, provides citizen assistant, collects fines and maintains departmental records and reports. Applicant must have the ability to maintain confidentiality. Average 15-19 hours per week. Starting pay: $13.31/hr.
REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years relevant experience required. A technical degree or some college credit preferred. Excellent organizational, office technology and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to read and interpret legal documents, reports and records. Employment offer is contingent upon a pre-employment physical. Applicants must reside, or be willing to reside, within 40 miles of the City of Hays within 6 months.
