Here’s the facts on this guy...
We picked him up at a sale last summer. Was told he came out of a feed lot. Never got the coggins paperwork on him, so unsure of age...guessing 8-10.
He had shoes on all 4 when we bought him. Assumed it was because he was on concrete at the feed lot...
Here’s the good things... he’s gentle & has good ground manners. He’s stands nice for the farrier & doesn’t need the shoes, he’s got good feet. Trailers, ties & just a big sweetie.
His faults... he’s the only gelding on the place & he beats up on my Mares. I can’t, and won’t, deal with that. He can be aggressive (towards horses) when standing at a hay bale or feeder. We have to keep him separate from the other horses & that doesn’t work for us. When saddled up, he gets a little anxious...like he’s ready to go to work. He’s a cowboy’s Horse! Nothing out of hand tho.
Can occasionally be stiff in one shoulder. Sells as is. Video posted is what he looks like when stiff.
Ask anything you need, I’ll be as honest with you as I can. We are gonna lose money on this guy, we realize this. But he has to go. If not here, then he’ll go to a sale next month. Make offer.
