So, thinking about selling my 1969 3020 syncro. Was purchased 6 yrs ago for my son's senior project. Was just going to be a restore job, but ended up being a total engine replacement because the engine balancer had flew apart
Anyways, found a NOS Late 3020 block, ressembled with a hyper kit from endurance power. This tractor starts and runs better than new now. Will start at 10 degrees of you need to. All new clutches, rebuilt injection pump. New rear tires. All original paint because we had already spent to much on it to sell at that point. Very straight metal. Fenders aren't that good, but I have others to choose from.
I have way over 14k in with the overhaul, block and purchase price, but I'd like to put money in something else that I would get better use out of. All it does is run a mist blower in the summer and grain auger in the fall. Broke it in on the feed grinder tho, so that's done. It pulls better than my 4020 that has never been touched
Is a diesel and located at Baileyville KS Hadn't been started since last October, but took right off last week in the video Has 1 12v battery. Also have a folder of pics from the overhaul. My son had to do this for his project
All the work done is documented with pics and his paper work for his class
