West Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative is a small, close-knit cooperative that serves  the Hays, Ellis, Victoria, and LaCrosse school districts. WCKSEC is focused on strong relationships  among staff, parents, and students and is known for the great care we take with students and their  families.  

We are looking for a school psychologist with a KSDE license in school psychology and interest in  working in a comprehensive school psychology model, that includes special education evaluations,  consultation with special and general education staff, and opportunities to work directly with students.  

The pay range we are offering is $51,125-$62,370 dependent on experience and education level.  • We offer flexible leave options, employee medical, matched contribution to an HSA and 403b.  • We also offer student to school psychologist ratios consistent with the NASP Practice Model  recommendations. We also provide high-quality professional development, added support for  newly hired staff, and professional learning communities.  

WCKSEC is located in Hays, KS, home to Fort Hays State University, Sternberg Museum, and The  Bricks in Downtown Hays. Salary and Benefits: The pay range we are offering is $51,125-$62,370 dependent on experience and education level, with full Benefits offering (see below).
Staff members employed by the school system for the first time can be granted credit for as much as 6 years of experience.
