Summary


The Technician II - Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to electronics troubleshooting and the setup, maintenance and repair of complex production equipment without direct supervision as well as assigning work Factory Hourly Operators, Tech I.     
 

  • Essential Functions
  • ·         Work in various departments following the applicable Skill Set Grouping (SSG).
  • ·         Provide electronics troubleshooting
  • ·         Plan and perform electrical/ electronic installations
  • ·         Maintenance and repair of all types of machines, controls and facilities
  • ·         Read and work with wiring diagrams, schematics and special instructions
  • ·         Perform work in accordance of National Electrical Code
  • ·         Set up computer controlled equipment without supervision
  • ·         Perform programming of computer controlled equipment
  • ·         Assign work to Operators under the direction of the supervisor as required.
  • ·         Accurately account for finished production and record material consumption.
  • ·         Repair production equipment, perform routine maintenance, and assist in the      installation or relocation of equipment.
  • ·         Perform complex material requirement calculations to insure the proper amount of material is utilized in the manufacturing process.
  • ·         Perform construction of piping, fixtures, move equipment, and other construction duties as assigned.
  • ·         May be responsible for oversight and supervision of Operator I, Operator II and Tech I personnel
  • ·         The complexities of duties performed by a Tech II are those duties for which proficiency would be expected after 24-36 months of training and hands on experience.
  • ·         Being present at work and adhering to assigned work schedule;
  • Work overtime when required;
