We are looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Team!

Position Summary:  Under the supervision of the nursing department’s management, the RN assumes the responsibility for the nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation needed to deliver safe, evidence based care within their scope of practice.

Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,  knowledge of general nursing theory and practice required; knowledge of principles, methods and techniques involved in performing general nursing services and adapting or modifying standards of nursing practices for care of specific medical cases.
 
Certificates and Licenses: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Kansas or has work permit from the State Board of Nursing; BLS and ACLS certification required or must complete BLS certification with in the first two weeks of employment or ACLS must be completed within 90 days of employment; TNCC required within one year of employment or following initial orientation;  ENPC or PALS required within one year of employment or following initial orientation; certified emergency nurse preferred.
