Shanna in a Dress is your quirky best friend who refuses to wear pants. This witty wordsmith is known for making audiences laugh and cry, sometimes in the same song. Think Jason Mraz mixed with Ingrid Michaelson with a twist of Phoebe Buffay from Friends all wrapped up in a sweet voice accented by guitar, piano, and ukulele.

She was recently selected as a finalist for the New Folk Kerrville Song Competition 2020 and a semi-finalist in Songwriter Serenade 2020. She also was a Grassy Hill Emerging Artist in 2020 at the Falcon Ridge Folk Fest. Shanna in a Dress curates and hosts the monthly show Women in Song in Boulder, CO and tours in the US and Europe. She has most recently been seen gracing the stages of Swallow Hill Music, South Florida Folk Fest, Black Bear Americana Fest, Casey Jones Music Fest, and eTown Hall.
