ENERSYS Hays is looking for an experienced Accounting professional ready to be a Plant Controller.  Directs financial activities of the Hays Plant in compliance with Corporate policies and Accounting guidelines.  Provides data and input to guide management in making strategic financial decisions for the Hays Plant.  Establishes and monitors internal controls in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAP), Corporate guidelines and financial audits.  Top on-site Accounting position reporting to the Plant Manager, with accountability to the Corporate Finance department.  Three direct reports.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or the equivalent plus 10 years’ professional experience overseeing financial/accounting operations in a competitive business environment.

Preferred:  Management/supervisory experience preferred.  Financial expertise in Manufacturing a plus.  Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.  Professional affiliations a plus.  Project management experience beneficial.
