Russell Regional Hospital has a current opening for a Medical Billing Clerk. The successful candidate will actively review patient accounts ensuring claims are accurate and billable, be able to identify and resolve claim edits, proactively fix claim rejection errors and resubmit claims. Record payments in billing software system, including posting and reconciling of payments.  Must understand billing guidelines and payer requirements, be self-directed and motivated to work independently with exemplary time management skills.  Must maintain confidentiality of all information under HIPAA guidelines. Medical office billing experience is preferred. 

Russell Regional Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital. We have a 24 hour Emergency Department and also a 23 bed long-term care facility. Russell is located only 28 miles East of Hays, KS. In addition we provide the community with a Physicians Clinic and a Specialty Clinic.
