This is the real deal! If you remember the flour sifter your grandma used to keep in her flour bin, I'll bet it was just like this one: a Bromwell's XXX Extra Heavy. At three cups, it's the perfect size for the bin. It has a three-wire sifting mechanism to deliver a fine sift quickly. AND, it has the handle and knob in the seafoam green that was so popular in the 1930s and 1940s. I wiped it down with a dry cloth, but you can still see that this heavy-duty sifter saw its fair share of time in the kitchen. It shows some scrayches, dark spots, paint wear on the knob and light wear on the handle. The sifter stands about 5-1/2" tall on the handle side and 6-1/4" at the lip. It is 5” in diameter. On the front in raised letters it says:
