Plug is a 4 year old Plott/Redtick cross. He is brindled over all his body, slick haired and weighs approximately 65-70 lbs. He comes from parents that were both hunted hard and did well, his father was a Redtick who hunted until he was twelve years old. I started this dog and he did well but I have not been able to take him out for two years. We used a caged coon to start him and he bayed it well and followed the scent trail as we drug it around and put it in the trees. We took him out on several hunts and he behaved well, however we never did tree a coon. It is possible where we were hunting that there were no coons to be found, we had several people with spotlights who didn't see anything either. He would go out 20-30 yards and scent and then check back in occasionally. He obeys basic commands as well as you can ask a hound. He always obeys the "load up" and "kennel" command. I would like for him to find a place where he can be used  more than I can. He will leave the yard and he will kill chickens. He is a very lovable dog with all people.
