LICENSED HOME DAYCARE OPENING IN RUSSELL  (on May 25th)

I am a 36-year old Stay-At-Home-Mommy to a very active 21-month old little boy.  I am opening a licensed home daycare in Russell for 2 years old and up.  I will be opening on Monday, May 25, 2015 (maybe sooner).  Just in time for school getting out and Summertime! 

My college background and work history are in Early Childhood Education.  I attended Fort Hays State University majoring in Early Childhood Education.  I also worked full-time as a Special Education Para for USD 489 (Hays, KS).   

I maintain a very safe and clean environment for the kids.  I have a HUGE backyard and a very nice basement (in addition to the main level) for the kids to play.  My home is a very kid-friendly and kid-centered environment with lots of toys and activities.  PBS Kids will also be on TV throughout the day so the kids can watch their favorite shows in addition to other activities, playtime, and outdoor fun. 

I also plan to take the kids on occasional field trips to the Russell Public Library (story time on Wednesday mornings), Memorial Park, or just a wagon ride around the block.  I have a daycare assistant that will come along to help me with the kids on field trips.  We will provide the car seats unless you would like to provide your own.

Open Enrollment/Open House will begin on Monday, May 11th (maybe sooner).  My daycare will open that following week on Monday, May 25th (maybe sooner).  Please text, call, or send me an email and let me know if you are interested in attending open enrollment/open house and I will put you on the schedule.  Thank You!
