Job Summary:  The CSR/Teller Supervisor position supervises all teller activities.  The core responsibilities of the CSR/ Teller Supervisor is to lead the team to ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures, coaching and mentoring staff in building relationships.  The CSR/Teller Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating financial activities of employees in their location.  This position also requires the ability to oversee and guide the CSR/Tellers duties and other daily activities. Daily responsibilities may change and new projects and jobs may be assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supervise the work of all tellers to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
  • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems and in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
  • Implement departmental procedures, policies and service standards in conjunction with management.
  • Ensure there is adequate staffing and performance expectations are being met.

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new employee within the department.

  • Handle daily employee issues.

  • Approve timecards, time off requests, perform employee’s performance appraisals.

  • Discuss job performance problems with employees in order to identify the causes for the issues and finding solutions in a timely manner.
  • Train and instruct employees on individual job duties and company policies.
  • Provide proper training to successful guide each employee.
  • Evaluate employees’ performance and recommend appropriate training support.
  • Communicate work procedures and company policies to staff.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of tellers of branches.
  • Provide cross train in other areas of operations.
  • Travel to respective locations on a regular basis.
  • Maintaining a vast knowledge of Federal Regulations pertaining to operations.
  • Execute current deposit program, and strategize ways to improve/gain customer retention.
  • Review and distribute check invoices.
  • Assist VP Retail with projects and new product development.
  • Review weekly CIP reports.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • High accuracy in counting money.
  • Ability to enter numerical data on computer with speed and accuracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in communicating with bank customers
  • Ability to listen to employees and resolve issues
  • Have employee/customer service training
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs
