Ruby is a 2006 mare with great potential as a show horse.  She has been started on barrels but does not have the heart of a runner but woud do great for points as all-around horse at shows.  She has done a bit of jumping also.  She has a beautiful slow gate for western pleasure.  Her striking color and excellent comformation took her to the top of the class at the Sherman County fair.  She beat our other mare that had won for several years until Ruby showed.  She is a bit of a premadonna and loves to have her picture taken.  She loads, trims (a bit testy with one hoof but we are working on that), is current on shots and worming, has ridden trail and in the arena, rides in a group or on her own, and has excellent ground manners.  My daugher runs barrels and is getting close to college.  She does not want horses that she has poured heart and sweat into sitting in the pasture instead of performing to their ability after all the ground work she did with them. Ruby does not match her program but will make an excellent horse for the next young girl with the hours my daughter has put into Ruby's training.  She goes back to Dialing Moon, Zantanon, and Three Bars.
