Beautiful Vintage Ice Bucket with Chrome Handle Made in France for Teleflora

Once upon a time, 1979 to be precise, the big brass at Teleflora had a brainstorm. They thought that there should be something more than an ordinary vase after the bloom had gone off a floral bouquet. They decided that their bouquets should be presented in an expensive and well crafted container of great beauty. These containers would not be the typical flower vase, but rather would be something that would be a lovely container for the bouquet and afterwards not only a charming reminder of the floral gift, but something useful and beautiful from that point sturdy forward. It would also be a unique way to draw people to their worldwide service!

This lovely crystal ice bucket with its sturdy chrome handle is one of the containers the Teleflora brass chose. The upper part of the glass bucket features ridges that are decorated with a series of tiny chevrons, while the bottom section looks like it is covered in raindrops. The effect is just gorgeous. The bucket was made in France for Teleflora in the late 1970s or 1980s. Think of the beautiful flowers it once held! It stands about 4" tall and is 5" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites. The glass bottom is marked "Made Exclusively for Teleflora in France."

You could add a floral frog and fill it with flowers once again, or you could add ice tongs and fill it with ice for your next party, or any time you need a bit of ice in your dining room, rec room, den or patio.
