Vintage Two Swan Vase Trinket Dish Applied Roses Gold Trim
Description
This vintage double swan vase would look lovely on your night stand or vanity table. Fill it with flowers or use it as a catch-all for jewelry and trinkets. This is a heavy piece, so you don't have to worry about damaging it with everyday use. The piece is about 5-3/4" wide, 2-1/4" tall, and 2-1/2" deep. On the front between the two swans, it has pretty pink applied roses with applied green leaves. The swans are trimmed in gilt gold on their tails and around the vase opening on their backs. Their facial features are also rendered in gilt gold.
The vase is in very good condition. It is marked "Made in China" with a red and white sticker affixed to the underneath side. During the firing process, one of the roses pulled away from the bud and another developed a small split in the outer edge of the petal, both of which you can see in photos. As you can also see, neither detracts from the charm of this small vintage vase. This is the perfect piece for that spot where you want something pretty, but don't have a lot of space.
