We are getting the local NWTF Golden Plains Gobblers Chapter going again after taking a year off. We are promoting the idea of getting youth in the outdoors and that is our main mission with getting this chapter going again. All monies profited through this local chapter will be used to have a youth event. Fewer youth today are getting into the outdoors and this has a direct effect with youth getting bored and getting into trouble. We believe we can make a difference by planting a seed to help youth get more involved in pro-social activities. In addition to having a youth event, did you know that NWTF gives thousands of dollars to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks for walk-in hunting opportunities here in Kansas? We would be happy to have others get involved in this initiative by attending the banquet, becoming a sponsor, underwriting, or donating items for the banquet. We have different sponsor packages available.  Feel free to message or call me if you have any questions.  Single ticket/meal/NWTF membership is $50.  A couples ticket/2 meals/1 NWTF membership is $65. A jakes/extreme jakes ticket (17 years of age and younger)/1 meal/1 membership is $10. 

The banquet will be held at the Elks Lodge, 1120 Kansas Ave, Great Bend, KS on 8/3/2013.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.
