Vintage 1996 Hallmark Spring Easter Ornament Blue Ribbon Bunny

The Blue-Ribbon Bunny will hold a place of pride on your spring tree. She beams with pride as she holds her prize-winning Easter basket filled with three colorful eggs. This ornament from the Hallmark 1996 spring collection bears a 1995 copyright date on the bottom. The Blue-Ribbon Bunny measures 1" x 1 3/8".

Don’t have a spring tree?  Well, you know the best thing about a windy day? Branches. Tree branches. Big ones and little ones. The ones you have to clean up. While you're cleaning up, look for one that is fairly straight. Give it a nice coat of white or slightly off-white paint. (Let it cure for a couple of days in a warm place.) Find a nice clay flower pot — one with the attached tray makes a nice stable base — the bigger the branch, the bigger pot you will need. Cut a piece of Styrofoam to wedge into the pot. It needs to fit snugly in the bottom of the pot and be about an inch shorter than the top of the pot. Push the branch into the Styrofoam and then fill the pot with your favorite shade of colored sand, the kind that you can buy to go in the kids' sandbox. Decorate with pastel bows, tiny silk flowers, and your favorite Hallmark ornaments from the spring collections!
