Cast iron and nickel, in good used condition however the two small doors on the left are not original and there is a small crack on the top. It has not been refurbished. Circa 1900 overall size is 28" x 16" it comes with the original seven piece "cookware set"

Salesman's samples are miniature versions of larger, heavier merchandise that the salesman would carry with him to demonstrate to prospective buyers. Or they would be on display in a General Store. Oftentimes the sample would be operational, just a scaled down model from the full size.
