We bought a 2005 model 1770 John deere planter.  It came with the firtilizer openers on it and we took them off to put on groffs.  They are in great condition!  The guy that had the planter before us took great care of everything.  Opener disks have approximately 90% of life remaning, only had about 800 acres on them.  The boots on the openers are in good condition also!  Paint looks great as you can see in the picture.  

I included one picture of the planter so you can see how well it was taken care of.
