Description
Standard Beverage Corporation is looking for a dynamic and professional Class “B” Delivery Driver with experience to join our team in the salina and junction city area. The primary function of this position is to courteously deliver product to retail stores and bars on an established route.
More specifically, this position will:
Drive heavy “straight” truck or automobile over established route.
Drive in a safe and lawful manner. Maintain an acceptable driving record.
Deliver products to retail stores on a daily basis and interact with customers and clients in a customer oriented manner.
Load and unload vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.
Pad, stack and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
Deliver and stack merchandise on customer’s premises.
Collect proper payment (cash or check), make change, and record transactions on customer receipt.
Record delivery information on delivery records.
Clean and perform routine maintenance on truck.
Collect boxes for repackaging of product.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Class B CDL
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to read, write and speak English
Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using US currency.
Possesses the ability to use logic and reasoning to carry out written, oral and diagram instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS
Class “B” Commercial Drivers License
Medical Examiner’s Certificate – As required by the Department of Transportation
