Could a cat sitting on a shelf get into trouble? Probably not, but don't bet on it. This fellow is of one of the fluffy varieties, perhaps a Persian. He has a particularly independent look, so wherever you put him, he may not stay put for long! This charming little miniature cat has perfected that innocent, yet independent, look. He is pure white pottery and has a glossy glaze. Under the glaze is he is shaded with black. He's about 2-5/8" long and is 1-1/2" tall; he's about 1-1/8" wide.
The cat is in excellent condition for a fellow his age! He has no chips or cracks, and his painted features are intact. I took the photos in bright, natural light so you could see the beginnings of minor vintage crazing in the glaze ... the hallmark of truly old glazed pieces. He is not marked.
This guy is perfect for your printer's tray or decorative shelf!
