A GM truck dealer told me this unit is fairly priced at $24,500. Odometer currently shows 68456 actual miles; 6.6 ltr (400 CiD) Duramax diesel engine runs great and since '06 is "pre-emissions" this engine gets better mileage and more power than later model-years. GVRW is 17,500 lbs; GCW is 26,000 lbs; front axle 8,000 lbs, rear axle 13,500 lbs. Wheelbase is 12' 8", bumper to bumper is 20' 6". Conventional cab has cloth seats and hand-cranked windows (less apt to need repairs): “plain jane” cab. Allison computer-controlled 5 spd auto trans with overdrive; push-button 4 X 4 controls are on the dash within comfortable reach of drivers' right hand ("2 hi," "4 hi," & "4 lo" so it really gets down low and slow to start every load smoothly, no matter what conditions). Heavy-duty 11' 6" flatbed by "PRO FAB" (add hydraulics and you've got a great bale-feeding truck!) with big under-bed RKI toolboxes and headache rack; "7 Round" electrical connection in middle and at the back end of flatbed, plus it's set up to operate your trailers' air-brakes. Tires are 245 / 70 / R 19.5 for serious hauling, so they ride rougher than some pickups; they are okay but have only a couple thousand miles left in them. Single rear axle with dualies. 5th wheel ball mounted about 4" behind axle, so the bed easily clears my gooseneck trailers. Heavy-duty welded receiver hitch is integral with rear bumper, with trailer-brake-controller conveniently located under the dash. Heavy-duty spare tire carrier at rear of bed. Gauges, lights, cruise control all work; reliable A/C blows cold with new fan motor. No known faults/problems, I just no longer need a truck this big. Call 520-255-6948
