I have a just over one-year-old female bluetick/treeing walker coonhound cross. I have had her for about 7 months. I started her at the end of last season, but not very hard as she was still young. She has been out with other dogs and trees with them. She has seen, trailed, and treed a caged raccoon early on and hates cats. I have also watched her work a raccoon trail during this running season (and yes, there was a raccoon at the end). She is in no way finished yet, and I have not taken her out by herself. She has opened up on hot trails with short bawls on track and she has a loud chop on tree.
She is about 55lbs and always wants attention. She knows a little bit of basic obedience (come and sit namely, heel sometimes), which does make her easier to handle in the woods. She had her rabies and other vaccinations in January 2014. She can be rather loud in the yard, so in town settings are probably not ideal. I am only selling her because someone gave us a registered dog, and I would like to focus on that dog.
If you are interested or have any questions, call or text me at (620) 617-3572. I am asking $200 175 because of the vaccinations, food, and work that has been put into her, but feel free to make me an offer.
