JUST IN TIME FOR HUNTING SEASON! This is Gunner, my 3.5 year old, AKC registered and fully trained German Shorthair. Below is all the information about him. Please call or text me with questions. I have additional photos I can send you. Thanks for your interest.
*3.5 year old intact male GSP
*Tall and stout dog. Currently weighs in the 72-74 lb range, which is the perfect weight for his frame.
*Housebroke. Sleeps in a crate indoors every night.
*Friendly, happy-go-lucky personality. Easy to train and very cooperative.
*Very quiet dog who seldom barks.
*Trained for whoa (steady to the flush), here, dead bird, load, heel, kennel, e-collar conditioned and retrieves from land or water (not fully to hand sometimes) and is a natural backer to other dogs.
*This November will be his 4th upland bird season. He has experience on pheasants, quail and chuckar. He is a fast and intense hunter; often ranging in the 100-200 yard range but can reach out to 300 yards if I let him. He has a great nose; often pointing birds from 30 yards away.
I would love for him to be a guide dog or part of a game preserve or go to someone who field trials or competes in other bird dog events. He is not the type of dog just to be a pet. He is a bird dog first and foremost.
