Hereford bull for sale
Description
We have decided to sell a coming two year old bull that we were retaining for our own use. We are keeping back one of our calves from this bull's dam and simply can't have three herd sires out of the same cow, so Durango 207 needs to be sold. He was born in December 2012 and is a heavily muscled, moderate framed, low birthweight bull with an outstanding pedigree. He looks a lot like his daddy THM Durango 4037. His mother 1409L is pictured on the home page of our website (www.coonherefords.com), and many of the calves on our website are maternal brothers to this bull. He is an ET calf, we did DNA test him so his EPD's are "genetically enhanced" and should be more accurate. HIs EPD's are as follows: BW +0.4, WW 41, YW 65, Milk 28, M&G 48, REA +0.04 IMF +0.13
Probably his best trait is his overall depth of rib, and the easy keeping look that he has about him. He gained really well over the summer despite being only on grass. He is priced at $6,000 (OBO) delivered or delivered to a central point for full possession and 3/4 semen interest. We are retaining a full 1/4 semen interest because we used him on some registered heifers and cows this spring and feel this is the easiest way to be able to register those calves without hassling the new buyer. Before delivery we will semen and trich test him with a breeding soundness exam, and he will be fully guaranteed a breeder for a 90 day turn out period. Let me know if you are interested.
