Graham County Hospital in Hill City, KS is a 15-bed critical access hospital with a mission statement of existing to assure readily available healthcare services for the residents of our area. Our purpose is to work with other community providers toward the prevention and treatment of diseases and injury, to maintain a healthy learning environment and to promote the health of a general community.
Schedule:
· Three 12-hour shifts per week
· Night Shift 6:00pm – 6:00am
· $2.50/hour shift differential for weeknight and $4.50/hour for weekend night
· Optional ER weekend call coverage available with pay incentive to hold call

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Kansas
- BLS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ACLS/PALS certification encouraged within one year of employment
- Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and hospital confidentiality standards

Job Duties:
- Receive patient assignments and institute nursing care for assigned patients.
- Provide excellent patient care in both emergent and non-emergent situations to inpatients and outpatients as well as to patients presenting to the emergency room.
- Delegate and supervise patient care as appropriate to other staff members.
- Communicate well with other staff members including providers regarding patient care and status changes.
- Work actively as part of a team of professionals to improve patient care experiences and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow hospital policies regarding variances in patient cares, infection control and safety practices.
