The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) safely administers prescribed medications to residents in a nursing home under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include following medication administration protocols, monitoring residents for side effects, accurately documenting medication records, and reporting any changes in residents’ conditions. The CMA also supports daily care activities, maintains a clean and safe environment, and promotes the comfort, dignity, and well-being of residents
