Norton County Hospital has a full time career opportunity for an Infection Prevention, Employee Health and Education Coordinator.  Qualified individual should be an RN or LPN or have medical education, training, and experience.  Applicant will be trained in hospital epidemiology principles and will be responsible for coordination of the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program which includes surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections; educating employees about infection prevention; and the development of policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection prevention standards.  This position will manage the employee health program and participate in facility orientation of new hires.  Duties also include coordinating the facility-wide education and certification program.  This position supports and acts as a resource to Administration, Medical Staff, and all hospital services.
