The power toilet aid is designed to help individuals with muscle limitation due to injury or disease.  Many individuals with muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis or myositis have found the power toilet aid a very valuable tool for maintaining their independence and privacy.  The power toilet will raise your toilet seat up to 13" above your existing toilet height.  It is powered by a 12 volt rechargeable battery and will lift up to 400 pounds.  It attaches to your toilet with no modification.  It attaches to your toilet where your toilet seat is attached.  You remove your toilet seat and the power toilet aid can be secured to the toilet.  Then your own toilet seat mounts on the toilet aid frame.  Much handier and more comfortable that regular 4"-5" toilet risers.  You are not sitting so high while using it and it raises much higher when trying to get up.
