Lyons Housing Authority is accepting applications for general Maintenance position for Park Place Apartments and Kingswood Housing. Knowledge or willingness to learn the practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment used in building and grounds maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and janitorial trades. Must be able to work independently, make sound judgments, and possess organizational skills. Valid Kansas driver’s license. Minimum qualifications are graduation from an accredited high school or possess GED. Work kind experience needed, but not necessary in building and grounds maintenance, building construction or related experience; or combination of education, training and experience equivalent. Wage commensurate with experience. Background check and Physical Capacity Profile Screening (WorkFit) will be performed prior to hire. Position will be open until filled.
