Barton Community College is seeking a replacement Library Assistant, Outreach Services.  This position is responsible for promoting and implementing library services and programs to support students and faculty. Responsibilities include development of outreach activities; creation of partnerships; creating flyers, posters, handouts and videos; managing the Library’s website and social media platforms; assistance with research activities and interaction with library patrons. This is a 10 month position (August 1-May 31) with the following work schedule:  Monday – Thursday, 11am-8pm and Sunday 1-7pm. Required qualifications: 6 months-2 years of similar or related experience, associate’s degree (bachelor's degree preferred) and knowledge/experience with computer operations, websites, social media platforms and information databases desired.
