Cedar Bluff State Park, is accepting applications for a seasonal worker and general maintenance position (999 hours maximum). We are looking for a hardworking and dependable individual.

DUTIES: • Operation and maintenance of equipment to include riding mowers, tractors, trucks, skid loader, UTVs, and other small equipment. • Paint/stain buildings, signs, picnic tables. • Must be able to effectively operate a weed eater, chainsaw, pruners, and other tools. • Previous light construction duties preferred (shingling, concrete work, basic electrical work, plumbing). • Chemical application of hiking trails, roadsides, and other surrounding areas. • Sanitation of facilities to include office, shop, restrooms, shower houses, and rental cabins. • Greet patrons with a friendly and courteous attitude and portray a positive image of KDWPT.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must comply with department rules and regulations. • Must possess valid driver’s license. • Must pass background check.

PAY RATE: Pay for this position will start at $14/hr and will be commensurate with skill level and experience. This position is paid on a bi-weekly basis.
