Network Operations Engineer design, plan, establish and optimize wireless networks and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization. Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch. Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability. Assists in formulating progress reports for each project to be furnished to management and all associated departments. Knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 switching, QoS, MPLS, 802.1Q tagging, emerging IP LAN and transport protocols, and knowledge of Network Management tools is recommended for this position.                                                                                                                              

Requirements:  

• Associate degree in Communications Technology, Computer Information Systems or the equivalent.
• Plus, five years of experience in Wireless technology, LAN/WAN networking, Central Office transport, IP transport, routing and network design, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Linux, SQL and TCP-IP Engineering. 
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• A background check is required for this position.
