Great Bend Children’s Learning Center is looking for a cook.  This can be a part time or full time position with duties including preparing a breakfast, lunch, and snack, preparing grocery lists and ordering food weekly, keeping the kitchen clean and orderly, and following menus aligned with the CACFP food program.  Applicant looking for full time would then assist in classrooms during naptime.  Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a KBI background check, fingerprinting process, and drug screening.  Trainings will be required but provided upon hire including a Health and Safety course, CPR/First Aid, and Food Safety Basics.  Knowledge of the CACFP food program is helpful but will train the right person.  Please apply in person at 1802 22nd.
