City of Bazine seeking application for City Maintenance person.

This position requires a motivated individual with the ability, skills, and willingness to field questions, concerns and complaints from the public, maintain reports and records, as well as many duties which will include repair & maintenance of water and sewer lines, well houses, and lift stations, reading meters, street repairs, operating mowers & heavy equipment.

Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.  A 6 month probationary period to determine if a good fit for the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a United States citizen, 18 years old by the time of hire, High School diploma or GED required, experience is preferred but not required.  Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to do physical labor & lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must have or be willing to get the required Small System Operator licenses for water system and wastewater treatment within 2 years of employment.

Must live in or within 15 mile radius of the City of Bazine.
