The Edwards County Sheriff’s Office is currently taking applications for a full time Emergency Dispatcher (911). Prior experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to do shift work which includes weekends and holidays. Must have extensive computer experience computer experience. High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug testing. Current starting wage is $10.76 per hour. Overtime is paid at time and half after 40 hours per week. There is an additional .50 cents hour for shift differential. The current position will be for night shift. Full family medical insurance package is paid by the County and includes dental, vision, and prescription plan.
