Back on the market- I'm offering my gorgeous 2018 grade dun gelding "Sultan" for sale. He stands right between 14.3 and 15 hands at the withers, and is built solid. He's a solid using horse, and really easy to get along with. He has great ground manners; will stand tied, stands to be saddled, stands decent for the farrier, lunges and responds great, and in the saddle is really light and bendy. I've had him for a year and four months, and broke him myself last spring. I've put all the work into him, but he's not finished. He's a speedy fella, definitely more woah than go and he can definitely go all day. He's not lazy, and definitely not for a new rider. He can get pretty strong in the hands and is really bendy through the body. Has a good stop and backup. I have never swung a rope off of him because that's not my forte, but I think he'd be awesome in the ropin pen or out on a cattle ranch, and when you're done using him go take him through the barrels. I've used him to ride through cattle at home but haven't done real work in that field. I've also lightly started him on the barrels, getting him to pick up correct leads and keep nice distance and rate around the barrels, but that's the most I've done. I think he has great potential in that. He's good with other horses, mid to low on the herd status. He's a nice horse to be around, doesn't do anything nasty, and if you're firm with him, he'll do anything you ask. He was dewormed, vaccinated, and had his feet done all within the last two months.
