Our Community Engagement / Legal Affairs Specialist coordinates and performs economic development and community engagement activities for the company and its subsidiaries to encourage and promote growth and business development of rural communities. Promotes and administers the Company’s Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) and other state and federal loan/grant programs. Performs legal contract review, participates in contract analysis and negotiations and coordinates legal matters with outside counsel. Tracks and renews franchise agreements by meeting with community leaders. Researches and reviews legislative issues and coordinates and attends various legislative functions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or the equivalent plus two years of experience in community and/or economic development, paralegal, regulatory and legislative administration, or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated experience in grant writing preferred.
