The Executive Director of the Ellis Alliance is responsible for the daily administrative duties of the Ellis Alliance office and its due-paying members. The EC attends monthly board meetings for the Ellis Alliance, Ellis Chamber of Commerce, and the Community Foundation of Ellis, collaborating with each board to help reach board goals.
This position is an integral part of Ellis that helps assist with many moving parts within the community. Experience working with a board of directors, community foundations and/or chambers is a plus.
To help fulfill the mission of Success through Cooperation, excellent communication skills are a must. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office are essential but will provide training for the right candidate.
The ED is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the Ellis Alliance office, answering the phone, and responding to email, managing room and game rentals, keeping QuickBooks up to date, filing quarterly taxes, preparing documents for annual audit and funding requests, preparing board meeting packets and financial reports for the Ellis Alliance board, and helping due-paying members to promote their programs and events.
This position is part-time and does require evenings.
