Description

We are searching for a highly analytical Accounting Manager or Chief Financial Officer to manage and lead our company’s financial/accounting functions. In this position, you will not only be accomplished in your functions of responsibility, but business-minded and proactively driving organizational success.

Your duties include establishing targets, performing financial analysis and refining processes as necessary. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities. Your ultimate goal will be to guide the company towards profitability and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of the company
  • Perform regular financial analysis.
  • Performs a wide variety of financial activities including reconciling all plant balance sheet accounts and perform month end/year end closings.
  • Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Expert with financial statements, monthly reporting, managing controls, and regulatory and tax compliance. Preparing and reviewing bank and GL account reconciliations and journal entries. Providing guidance for A/P & A/R processes. Budgeting/forecasting.
  • Establish targets and manage all finance/accounting employees including outside CPA firm.
  • Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
  • Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles accounting requirements.
  • Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.
  • Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • Financial leader with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, and inventory strongly preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • An analytical mind with good organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
  • Outstanding leadership skills.
