Description

Barton Community College seeks a replacement Bookstore Manager.  Responsibilities include: day-to-day operations that support the college community through the sale of textbooks and supplies; inventory controls and the keeping of accurate and up-to-date records of all stock; annual inventory reporting for auditing purposes; maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of outstanding books and accounts receivable; ordering and stocking of campus supplies; working with faculty on book requirements; developing bids; initiating all purchasing of books/access codes and other merchandise sold through the Bookstore; monitoring of bookstore revenue and expenditures; supervision of Bookstore personnel; and providing retail floor and web sales support. Required qualifications:  a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school along with six months to two years of similar or related experience.  Preferred qualifications: experience managing a retail business.  Review of completed applications begins immediately.
