Speck is an 18 year old grade gelding, 14 hands.  He was a youth saddle winner in the pole bending several years ago.  Since then, he has been used for calf roping and most recently steer wrestling for high school rodeos.  I am currently tuning him up in poles and barrels and using him to check and gather cattle.

Speck is so quiet and sweet.  He would make a great horse for any age, just probably not a beginner.  He has no buck, rear, kick, or spook.  Good for farrier and hauls great.  He rides the same every time, whether every day or let him set for 6 months.

He was born with pink pigmentation around one eye, and has some cloudy spots in it, but sees fine.  We keep a fly mask on when not being ridden.  UTD on shots, float, and shoeing.
