Colby Community College is accepting applications for a Director of Planning and COVID-19 Response. The successful candidate will be tasked with writing and orchestrating Request for Purchases (RFPs), managing and tracking COVID-19-related funds, working with and providing supplemental help for Maintenance, and aiding in campus security and safety. The Director will build upon an institutional culture of integrated and collaborative planning. The Director of Planning and COVID-19 Response position is a 12-month, non-faculty, non-instructional position. This is an exempt position, and the Director is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Essential skills include excellent communication skills, knowledge of institutional planning, preparing RFPs, a solid knowledge of and experience working with Maintenance and Facilities units, a knowledge of institutional security best practices, and the ability to accurately and appropriately manage federal COVID-19 monies. The individual should have a strong employment record of working collegially with others while advancing an organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous management experience required, an associate degree preferred. Experience with institutional planning, management of federal funds, purchasing and acquisition processes, building maintenance, and security, preferred.

SALARY

$47,500-$52,500
