For sale is a very nice example of a 1973 Honda CB500F with 9,700 original miles. This bike was done by a custom motorcycle shop and did modifications to enhance the appearance without radically altering it. No chassis modifications were made, simply cosmetic and performance upgrades.

The bike has been sitting in storage now for a couple years (it is now VERY dusty so will not look like it does in the pictures). When it was put into storage it would not go into gear. Based on my research it appears to be a push rod issue but I cannot be for certain.

In addition, unfortunately a mechanic that worked on the bike did some light damage to the tank. These are some small chips in the very front of the tank and there was a spill that was allowed to sit which left a bubble.

Here is a partial listing of the parts and modifications:
- MAC 4 into 1 header
- Powder coated frame, wheel rims, side stand and swing arm
- Polished engine covers, wheel hubs, fork sliders and hand controls
- Painted engine block and head
- Super bike bend bars with Biltwell grips
- Carburetors rebuilt, jetted to the exhaust and fitted with Uni pod filters
- New spokes, nipples and Metzeler tires
- NOS tank emblems and reproduction side cover emblems
- Original front and rear fenders (front fender has been shortened)
- New speedo and tachometer in custom bracket
- Custom seat based on original pan. This allows the factory hinge to remain operable.
- New Candy Bacchus Olive paint on original tank and side covers.
- New chain and sprockets

I have a clear title in hand.
