Logan County Community Foundation Job Description

 Position: Director for Logan County Community Foundation 

Job Description: The Logan County Community Foundation (LCCF) Director serves the LCCF board as a resource provider by developing relationships and working with area foundations, groups, entities and individuals for the purpose of community development and betterment of life in Logan County.  The Director will be directed and managed by the LCCF board of directors. 

Hours:  Flexible hours up to 32 hours per week with possible benefits 

Qualifications:  Good oral and written personal communication skills necessary; self-motivated and able to manage own time; Microsoft Office required  

 Responsibilities:

●        Manage the daily operations of LCCF business, answering and directing calls, correspondence, project/funding requests, grant reports, etc.

●        Attend and prepare for LCCF board meetings by providing materials including; agendas, job activity reports and minutes. 

●        Organize and facilitate annual fundraising events/projects, including communications and advertising with assistance from the board

●        Ensure Dane G. Hansen’s annual initiatives are met

●        Maintain LCCF website and social media; maintain database to promote Logan County services, events, and activities

●        Promote the services available to Logan County non-profit organizations.

●        Help facilitate grants and assist as needed with grant preparation

●        Provide a written summary for the Logan County commissioners every 6 months, as well as attend commissioner meeting(s) as requested and be available for questions as needed.

Miscellaneous:

●        A laptop computer and other necessary office equipment and supplies will be provided with ownership to remain with LCCF
