Purpose:
Organize and maintain equipment lot while also assisting with other dealership duties

Responsibilities:

• Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer locations; may include lawn equipment and skid steers, as well as driving large ag equipment
• Supports the sales department with equipment delivery, as needed
• May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures, as required
• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
• Organizes equipment inventory on lot
• Maintains dealership grounds and basic building maintenance
• Assists Service Manager/Shop Foreman in managing customer equipment (arrival, timeliness, cleanliness, and delivery/pickup)
• Assists in loading/unloading trucks
• Assists in wash bay, if needed
• May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
• Follows all safety rules and regulations and uses safe practices in performing all work assignments

Qualifications

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

• CDL License required or BTI will assist in the process of obtaining a CDL
• Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
• Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
