Leopold Company Burlington, Iowa Desk

This desk is known and respected for it’s superior craftsmanship. 

This desk was owned by my wife’s father prior to his passing away and then utilized by my wife for the past few years. It was purchased by my wife’s father to use in his accounting practice.

Total of six drawers and two side workstations. (See pictures)

On the left side of desk, the pictures show three handles, the bottom two handles go to one single large filing drawer that’s 9 inches deep and 27 inches long.

The other four side drawers (One on the left, and three on the right) are all same 4 1/2 inches deep and 27 inches in length.

The middle drawer is the skinny drawer for office supplies and has a lock but key has been lost.

The two workstations are pictured that are pull out next to the center drawer on the left and right. The pull out on the left is missing the knob that can easily be replaced. All hardware is original and there are no scratches or chips in the wood. There are some rub marks that can be seen in pictures.

Not to over use the term but this is and antique desk with stability. Many antique pieces are often flimsy or fragile. This desk is extremely sturdy, heavy and durable.
