Shop Technician & Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Will analyze and service equipment, trailers and possibly ATV's
• Trailer wiring and finish work
• Steam cleaning and prep
• Easy 12 volt wiring
• Hydraulic Pump Installations
• Set Up Mowers & ATV's
• Light welding 
• Repairing components & installation of parts
• Maintain a safe & clean working area, returns tools to storage area
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customers using computer, tablet &/or hand written
• Detail oriented enough to perform quality work 
• Accomplishes tasks efficiently without compromising service quality 
• Safely operate forklift, hoists and all equipment
• Assists in property maintenance 
• Approach daily tasks, projects and follow-up communication with energy and sense of urgency
• Be helpful to service manager in other miscellaneous jobs 
• Basic electrical repairs and hydraulic brake inspection & repair
• Battery inspection
• Electric Brake Inspection of Operationally sound
• Surge Brake operation and master cylinder level inspection
• Coupler & Hitch inspect for wear and replace 
• Tire - check pressure when cold and inflate as needed & check for damage
• Inspect wheel lug nuts or bolts and hubs for tightness or remounting
• Lubricate hingesJack gears
• General building & lot maintenance
• Repairs, Mowing, Painting, Deep Cleaning
• Parts Organization, Inventory Count 
• Parts Ordering, Managing, Increasing part sales and orders
• Selling trailer & ATV parts
• Assists customers in buying parts, locating the correct parts
• Coordinates with the Service Department to provide parts required for service work
• Pricing parts
• Organizing parts & display in a clean and orderly fashion
• Help trouble shoot customers mechanical parts issues 
• Parts Inventory processing including truck receiving, recording and stocking
• Will be predominantly walking or standing to perform job duties, some sitting also
• Occasional outside work 
• Assist Office & Sales with leads and manage leads
• Parts Lookup and sourcing
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasional lift & move heavier
• Use of company dealer management software CDK Global EVO
• Operates computer keyboard
• Successfully complete product and sales training courses assigned
• Coordinate and work with service manager 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or College/Trade School appreciated
• Excellent customer service skills & winning attitude, pleasant personality

• Provide your own tools, some tool loan available
• Installing tire and wheel assemblies
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, usehands to finger, handle or free objects

• Current Valid Driver License
