Smith County Memorial Hospital has an opening for a laboratory scientist (MT/MLT) to support our growing patient service in Smith Center, Kan. The laboratory scientist position will include but not limited to phlebotomy, hematology, coagulation, chemistry, blood banking and DOT drug screen collections. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess excellent computer skills. The role will work closely with our team of professionals in a state-of-the-art laboratory. 

Candidates should have an associate or bachelor's degree in a science field (chemistry, biology, etc.) ASCP/AMT certification is preferred, but not required. SCMH will assist in training and certification upon hiring as needed. This role is for an evening position. Hours and on-call needs can be determined in coordination with the lab manager.
